[three]☆Chinese New Year

So today started great. I woke up pretty early and made these delicious turkey and avocado wraps with cucumbers for lunch.

They weree delicious. First, Second, Third period was way boring. Second period was cool though. I sit like right next to Mr. Zaccheo’s (math) desk. And pretty much the whole time, he just mumbles all the time. It’s Like if someone was really annoying he’d mumble, “Geez, just shut up.” and would just mumble to himself. It’s really funny. Ask me to do an impression it’s way funnier that way. We actually did something different in Martin’s though, estoy muy soprendida! We watched Lord of the Flies in Savinar’s. That choir song is still stuck in my head. Cheeriay Cheerio. Shull’s class was pretty dumb as always. Biosite was actually fun today. First time in awhile. Anna was in a real bad mood though. I think she should bike harder to burn that anger off. Well anyways, Karina and I were at midstream for the project. The celerity of the water was actually very quick today. It kind of scared me cause it was fast and deep. But it was one of the fun days of Biosite.

When I got home from school, I took a fabulous nap. Then woke up for Chinese New year dinner. We had some intense chinese food. Chow mein, Xa Xiu, Roasted pork, Tofu and lots of other stuff. Oh mann, every time we have a dinner thing, i feel like we’re all getting fatter, it’s getting harder and harder to fit 15 people on a 8 seater table. Haha. Course there’s a seating chart in my house. Anyways after that, we lined up for red envelopes. My mom did the evil game again with the red envelopes with different amounts. This year I got the second highest which was a good $40. She was pretty nice this time. The lowest was 5, there were two of those. Two tens, One twenty, one forty and one hundred. Anyways we didn’t have the board game with the chicken and the crab with the dice so we played Asian Blackjack where the number 9 is the winner. Worst luck ever! So today was the last day of the Year of the pig. When we were playing, pretty much my Mom and Aunt took all of our money. I think it was because they were born in the year of the pigs. Then my sister won once, that’s probably because she was born the year of the rat [this year!] Ahhh I lost 8 dollars of lunch money savings from that. Oh no!, there goes my um fund for something I haven’t decided to save on.

Well my head hurts, and I’ll try to blog tomorrow, but probably I’m going to forget like always. (:

[two]☆Double Days

So today was pretty fun. School was quite boring today. Especially first period. AP European History. I just love falling asleep when Burrell is lecturing! not. But today wasn’t as bad as others. We reviewed about DBQs. Deathly Booty Quests. Pretty much a death sentence. During second period, I find out I have a quiz in math on Monday, which I have no idea on. It was a typical day in Martin’s. Homework stamps, pay attention as she lectures, fall asleep kind of, then write down homework. Over and over again. It’s so tedious! But then Savinar’s class totally juxaposes the repetition of Martin’s every day. NOT! We did vocab today :) My favorite word would probably be superfluous. Haha, then we watched a part of Lord of the flies. OH MAN, then came 5th period. Shull’s CRAZY HARD DEATH QUIZ. This is bad, but Kevin and I created a secret morris pencil code to get through the test. Too bad we forgot that we were BOTH stupid in chemistry so it didn’t work. Dear lord baby Jesus! Anyways, on to badminton conditioning. Stadium laps today! Conditioning was pretty tiring, nothing really happened. I guess my lotion smells like girl. haha. Then volleyball practice at Almaden. Pretty intense stuff. We scrimmaged against like 30 year old guys who hit like MONSTERS. It was amazing.
